Is the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Dezert Light, and a director, cinematographer, and editor whose creative pulse beats strongest in the desert.
Her work exists in the space where sensuality meets nature, and where reality softens into surrealism. Through short films and music videos, she crafts visual worlds that feel intimate, atmospheric, and charged, images that move slowly, breathe deeply, and linger long after they disappear.
Karla’s frames are deliberate.
She balances raw human energy with the vast, unspoken language of desert landscapes, skin against sand, motion against silence, desire against horizon.
Whether behind the camera or shaping rhythm in the edit, her process is instinctual and precise. She creates imagery that seduces the eye, awakens the senses, and invites the viewer into a heightened state of awareness.
With Dezert Light, Karla extends her cinematic language into editorial form, curating a publication that is tactile, immersive, and unapologetically sensual. A magazine that honors light as an experience, not just an element.

Is the Editorial Director, a highly accomplished model who has graced the covers of magazines and starred in various music videos and commercials.
A world traveler who was born in Croatia has been enriched by experiences all over the globe. She has worked, lived, and explored the beauty of different cultures and lifestyles in cities such as Paris, London, Barcelona, Hamburg, Milan, Greece, Turkey, Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel and Mexico.
Sandra has dedicated 15 years of her life to studying self-empowerment, positivity, and integrity. Through her journey, she has gained valuable insights and experiences makes her also a great host!
She has been living in Los Angeles for the past 8 years, which she now calls home. With a shared passion for the desert and a desire to create something unique, a wife and wife team has combined their ideas to create a magazine. With a focus on love and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the desert.
